The "G" in Downtown Bryan's Mr. G's Pizza is actually the first name initial of the establishment's proprietor, Giovanni Cerone, a pioneer in the redevelopment of Downtown Bryan and an amazing pizza chef.
I don't always go to eat at the mall, but when I do I head straight to the food court to grab a bite at College Station's newest gourmet burger joint, Flip and Peel.
Actually, "I don't always eat at the mall" is a quite the understatement. I hardly ever enter malls, much less stick around for dinner in the food court. However, I now find myself craving burgers and fries every time I drive down Harvey past Post Oak Mall.
Walking over from my office to Good Time Charley's in Downtown Bryan, I honestly wasn't expecting a greatness. Most pub grub is intended to be more of a "booze sponge" than a culinary delight. Turns out, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly service.
