Charles Stover is at it again. Now he's looking to make some green slingin' what I'm sure will be highly addictive salads. The local restaurant legend behind the popular gourmet burger and specialty fries joint, Flip and Peel and the recently opened Primo Pizza is opening Salad Sculptors in Post Oak Mall today.
Until recently, Revolution Cafe and Bar, a favorite local hangout in Downtown Bryan, only had one item on their menu, Mr. G's pizza slices. Now, the slices are out and insanely awesome sandwiches are in!
Revolution's new menu is simple, featuring seven sandwiches and a few sides. The three items I've tried so far confirm the old adage "Simple is good"...darn good!

Now, he's taking his mission to bring Bryan great Cajun food a step further with his latest venture, Crawfish To Geaux!
Opening in January and remaining open through the crawfish season, Crawfish To Geaux will be a food truck
Local beverage distributor Kristen Distributing recently got back into the soda business after abandoing soda to focus on the malt beverage business decades ago.
Boots Beverages, based in Bellville, Texas, does not make your typical soda flavors.
My first taste of a Boots product was their Dewberry Soda at the Village Cafe tonight. The flavor and carbonation...the overall taste...made me want to check out theeir other flavors. Soda is a "treat" for me and a craft soda like a Boots makes it more special.
For now, the locally made sodas are avaliable at a few local restaurants like The Village along with convenience stores.
